Whammerdyne 2A3 “Damn Awesome” integrated amplifier – CAS 2018

Whammerdyne was showing their 2A3 SE model DAA3+ RAM “Damn Awesome” integrated amplifier at this year’s California Audio Show in the PureAudioProject room.

The 2A3 is a tube that most people like quite a bit, but is traditionally associated with very low power amplifiers. This no exception being rated at 4 watts  (max impulse power exceeds 12 watts per channel).

Have to admit that the initial appeal of this amps lies in their industrial design for me. They just look “Fantastic Planet” cool 🙂
