Audio Note UK – CAS 2018

Audio Note UK and True Sound brought very much their same system from last year to this year’s California Audio Show.

With an eclectic music selection and a friendly presentation style – the atmosphere here was relaxed and very enjoyable.

Some room’s pitter-patter ends up in quarter hour lectures – but not so here, thank goodness. Just enough background on each selection to make it more interesting and awaaaay we went with the music.

With equipment racks from IKEA this room took the reasonable person’s approach to high-end audio [as opposed to some rooms where the equipment rack by itself cost more than the first house I bought back-in-the-day *cough* *cough* :-). Does that mean that I am gawdawful old or that those equipment racks are expensive… you choose].

• The Audio Note M3 Phono was doing the preamplification duties….

Analog, and here we see digital, and next reel-to-reel tape.

True Sound has as one of their specialties reel-to-reel tape deck restoration. They brought one of these to the show again this year.
